It is the day when Christians commemorate Jesus Christ's crucifixion, which plays an important part in the Christian faith. It is not a federal holiday in the United States, although it is a state holiday in some states. A sexta-feira santa ocorre dois dias antes do domingo de Páscoa nos Estados Unidos. É o dia em que os cristãos comemoram a crucificação de Jesus Cristo, que desempenha um papel importante na fé cristã. Não é um feriado federal nos Estados Unidos, embora seja um feriado estadual em alguns estados.

It was a dark and stormy night. I was in my bed.   Suddenly, I heard a very strange noise. I am in my new house in Africa. The house is in the middle of nowhere. Well, it was actually in the savannahs. The noise was getting louder and louder. It sounded like heavy footsteps. The house was very big, I was afraid and I didn’t want to leave my bedroom. Unexpectedly, the door swung open with a bang.   I pulled my blanket and I didn’t want to look to see what it was. Soon I realized I was all covered in water. Damn! My brother’s pet elephant had broken into the house and gushed water all over me. Jiiiimmyyyyy!

It was a dark and stormy night. I was in my favourite coffee shop. Only me and the shop assistant were there. Suddendly, the lights switched off. Although it was very dark I could realize that the shop assistant wasn't there anymore. I was feeling nervous and scared. Soon, the lights switched back on. And also the assistant was back there. "How strange!", I thought. I was trembling... I asked the shop assistant what had happened. It was a dark and stormy night. The town was covered with red lights.  I thought it was the police.  It was not. I was returning to the hotel. Suddenly, zombies started to appear from all the places.  The people were frightened but I wasn't because I could understand their language. So I talked to them and understood what they wanted. Funny enough, they didn't want brains but hamburgers, instead.  Everywhere they went people started screaming so the zombies couldn’t get what they really wanted. I stopped to think and I started to help them. This wasn't an easy task because more and more people in the town were still getting scared even though I explained what WE wanted.  Yes! Now I was one of them too. At the end of it all, we got many hamburgers. The zombies invited me to live with them too. So here I am, in another planet, living with them until today. It was a dark and stormy night. I was in my backyard. Suddenly, a U.F.O. appeared in the sky. They, the aliens, abducted me. They took me inside their spaceship. The spaceship was really very big. It was very technological. There were lots of buttons and lights blinking everywhere. I could hear beeps all over too. The aliens were very strange. They had cool guns. I liked it. I like guns. We went to a futuristic planet.  When we arrived in their planet it looked like Mars. There were lots of cows. I never thought there would be cows on Mars. I was taken to a prison in a big tower.
